Special Announcements

Hello Faith Lutheran Sunday School Families!

We are writing with an important update regarding the Remind texting service we use to communicate Sunday School closures and other announcements.

Due to a recent change in Verizon’s fee structure, Remind will no longer be able to send text messages to people who have Verizon Wireless as their phone carrier as of January 28th. They are actively working on a solution but, for now, those families who use Verizon will need to consider one of two alternate options for receiving these announcements.

1) Download the free Remind app on the iOS App Store, on Google Play, or here. If you don’t already have a Remind account, create one using the phone number where you receive Remind texts. Make sure to enable push notifications on your phone.

2) Go to Remind on any computer. As above, if you don’t already have a Remind account, create one using the phone number where you receive Remind texts. Turn on email notifications for your account so you don’t miss any messages.

We know that this change could impact many of our families and we’re hoping that Remind is able to resolve this issue soon. In the meantime, we appreciate you using one of the methods above to be sure you still receive our updates!
