A big hug and thank you to all who have sent cards, visited, and just kept me in their prayers. I am so very grateful. My progress after the trauma surgery on my leg will be slow and PATIENCE is not one of my virtues. However I do know that God is with me every step of the way and I am never alone. Knowing that encourages me to have a patient attitude and produces a sense of joy. So thank you all again. To the wonderful ladies in the back pews, my thoughts are especially with you every Sunday morning. Elaine Dively

Upcoming Events

Mid-Week Lenten Services Continue – April 10 – Noon,
Service of Word and Devotions, “We’re Marching to Zion”.

Palm Sunday – April 14, 2019 Palm Sunday’s liturgy begins with a palm procession, commemorating Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. The tone of the service changes as we meditate upon Jesus’ passion and death. Because this story is so central to our faith, we hear Luke’s account of the passion on Palm Sunday and John’s version on Good Friday. Though Jesus is obedient even unto death on the cross, he is exalted by God. We gather to remember his offering for the life of the world, and to be fed by his life-giving mercy. Holy week will culminate in the celebration of the Three Days of Jesus’ suffering, death, and resurrection. We will gather outside, weather permitting, for the blessing of the Palms.
