THE SHIM Sack Hunger: Pack Hope Drive began March 1 and runs through April. During this time donations will be matched by the Buhl Foundation, up to $25,000!! You can donate online at www.shimcares.org or send checks to the SHIM office at 5301 Park Avenue, Bethel Park, PA 15102.
COUNCIL MEETING April 8, 2018 following worship. The next council meeting will be May 9th at the regular time.
VOYAGERS will gather on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 11:45am at Panera, South Park Shoppes. Join this great group of retirees for lunch and a lot of laughter!
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION will be celebrated at Faith on Sunday, April 22, 2018. Our Communicants, who have received instruction from Pastor, include Ben Cavenaugh, Maddie Cavenaugh, Noah Paola and Delaney States. A reception will follow worship. All are welcome. Students are encouraged to invite family and friends to celebrate this special day.
LINE DANCING CLASSES Monday nights from 6:30-8. Join us to shake off the winter doldrums and dance off those extra holiday pounds. It’s an hour and a half of fun, laughs, and learning new line dances. No pressure, just a good time. $5/class. For more information, see Faith Potts. CROCHET/KNITTING CLASS continue the first and third Wednesdays of each month from noon to 1:30pm. For more information, contact Beth or Judy.
PRAYER PARTNERS know of someone who needs a prayer? Please contact Darlene Lorenz, Faith Potts, Pastor Ron, or Lynn in the church office. Concerns will be met with daily prayers by our dedicated Partners. We also welcome additional Partners to our ministry. Let one of us know if you have any questions or are interested in joining us.
SHIM FOOD PANTRY The suggested food for April is peanut butter and jelly. All non-perishable food items are welcome always, as well as household and baby products and diapers.
HELP South Hills Pet Rescue by donating your discarded newspapers. These newspapers will be used at the facility. There is a collection bin available in the counting room. Questions, contact Cheryl Redilla.
